It’s heartwarming when the whole disparate Madonna clan re-assemble for summer in New York. The various children from various father’s and forlorn biological mothers around the planet. It’s like a high school reunion where everybody there came out of, or was purchased, by the same woman.

Rocco Ritchie is back in New York with his mother following legal battles over his custody. He looked particularly happy to be back home where the weed is leagues better. Lourdes Leon returned from school to shop in Times Square looking as the wealthy girls do in Manhattan in the summer, like lesbian tennis players. Leon got a new MOM tattoo on her fingers and her sister MERCY’s name on her arm to let everybody at the vegan family picnic know exactly who she will and won’t be speaking to this summer. Watch the hilarity ensue as the kids all bump into each other in the outdoor gazebo they think nobody else knows is their secret cigarette smoking hideout. Everybody needs a safe space when mom’s being plowed by a 20-something Moroccan dancer closing his eyes and dreaming of his boys day camp in Rabat. There’s no substitute for family. Mom starts her fifteen month world tour in three more days. Watch a lot of cable and wait.
