KATHERINE HEIGL HAS A PLAN

Two days ago, "Greys Anatomy" star Katherine Heigl announced to the world that she would not defend her Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress, because, in her words, "I do not feel I was given the material this season to warrant a nomination."  This may surprise no one but Katherine Heigl, but it turns out people don’t like it when you say they suck.  EW says…

…a key show insider contacted EW.com to express regret that the actress publicly complained about the drama. “The show bent over backwards to accommodate her film schedule, and then she criticizes the show for lack of material?" the insider said. "It's an ungrateful slap in the face to the very writers responsible for her Emmy win in the first place.”This isn't the first time Heigl has publicly criticized the show that helped to make her a household name. Last year, the actress dropped out of salary renegotiations, reportedly because she felt the studio doesn't value her as much as it does her cohorts. ABC TV Studio fired back, insisting the Grey’s actress had been offered a substantial raise. Heigl has since received a salary bump.

The assumption all over town is that Heigl is doing this because she wants to get fired from "Greys".  Since "Knocked Up", she is said to feel TV is beneath her and she wants to work in movies full time.  Apparently no one has pointed out the flaws in her plan of being an impossible pain in the ass in order to get fired from one job so she can get another job in the very same industry.   It would be like if you were a pilot for Delta, and you crashed a couple of planes so you could get hired by United.  “I’ve proven I suck, now let the bidding war begin!”  I hope Katherine has a big room where she can pile up all her new money!
