NOTHING NEW WITH BRITNEY

So nothing effectively changed yesterday in the court hearing concerning the control of Britney Spears estate while she is in a psychiatric ward.  Jamie Spears and his attorney Andrew Wallette (or "Wallet", according to TMZ) are still  the co-conservators of Britney's estate despite Britney’s “strong desire“ against it.  Sam Lutfi is still under a restraining order and can have no contact whatsoever with Britney, not even e-mails, phone calls, letters, cryptic Craigslist ads or telepathy.  The only interesting thing that happened was that the commissioner said Adam Streisand (the second cousin of Barbara Streisand) had no legal basis for claiming he's Britney's new lawyer and that there will be a hearing at some point to determine just how mentally competent Britney is.  People magazine says:

A court-appointed lawyer for Britney Spears, Samuel Ingham, was also present, and testified that he met with her at the hospital Sundy for 15 minutes. He added that in his opinion the pop star "does not understand the nature of these proceedings" or their impact on her future. He added, "I think she lacks the capacity" to hire a private lawyer. In addition, a court-ordered physician will evaluate the singer's "competence to make her own decisions" and to report his findings on Feb. 13.

How crazy is this bitch anyway?  I thought she was just kinda dumb and lonely.  That's why she has sex with whoever happens to be standing nearby.  You could fist her with a conch shell and she might not even notice, but all in all (unless she was driving) she was pretty harmless.  They make it sound like she's yelling at invisible demons and keeping her urine in jars.  Wow, imagine it was 2002 and someone told you Britney would go from that to this in just a few short years.  Not only would I call you a liar, I would cry and run away and then tattle on you for being mean to me.
