BRITNEY SKIPPED THE HEARING

Britney Spears did arrive at the courthouse yesterday, presumably to attend her child custody hearing, but instead she drove around the parking garage for a little while, then left and went home.  Driving around is fun!  Weeee!  TMZ says:

…when Britney first arrived at the courthouse and went into an underground tunnel, she was met by two of her lawyers — Anne Kiley and Tara Scott. We're told they actually got into the Escalade to speak with her. That's when Brit said she just didn't want to testify.That would also explain why she didn't go inside the courthouse from the tunnel. Once she drove away, she came back — and at one point got out of the SUV — but then got back in and drove off.

The day ended with Kevin Federline retaining sole custody of their two children for at least another month.  Britney may not visit or have contact with her kids for any reason.  People.com says:

Kevin Federline, who testified at the session, maintains sole legal and physical custody of their two sons Preston, 2, and Jayden, 1, "indefinitely," a court spokesman says.In a bizarre and chaotic scene outside the courthouse, Spears arrived for the afternoon session of the proceedings – but abruptly left the courthouse after paparazzi surrounded her."I'm scared. I want to get in the car. I'm going in the car," she said after stepping out of the car as photographers crowded around her.

When asked for a comment, a man outside the courthouse wearing a dollhouse for a hat said, "If you look closely, you'll notice this seemingly ordinary hat is actually a dollhouse".  The gathered reporters and media all said, "well look at that, it IS a dollhouse".  Then they applauded while the man said, "thank you, thank you very much".  And then everyone agreed he should get the kids, because although maybe not a better choice than KFed or Britney, he can't be any worse.  And then there's nifty hat.
