THAT’S NOT HOW YOU SPELL IT

Joaquin Phoenix made a strong statement last night by accepting his People Choice Award with only signs, saying he's "speechless without the writers" (video after the jump). And while I definitely appreciate the sentiment, someone else might be a little more qualified to take this stand. Someone who isn't a complete fucking retard for example, and can spell their own name.
