SO WHAT HAPPENED ANYWAY

The New York Post has a few early details that help explain why police were called to the home of Britney Spears last night and why a three hour standoff followed. Page Six says:

According to reports, when Kevin Federline’s bodyguard showed up to collect Sean Preston and Jayden James, Britney locked herself in the bathroom with both boys and wouldn’t come out. She also refused to let the boys leave, so cops were called to the house. A source told PageSix.com that Britney was "hysterical and just wanted to keep the kids overnight.”

I think it would be okay if the cops kicked in the door, and if there was a big octopus in the bathtub, they could be all like, "well what in the heck is that doing there!?!?" Because that would be unexpected.
