LINDSAY JUST WANTS TO HAVE FUN

July 20, 2007 | celebrity | editor | 0 Comments

Lindsay Lohan's acting career may be dying as studios and producers shy away from casting her because of her endless partying.  The New York Post says today that her latest film was shut down because of her trip to Vegas last weekend, just hours after leaving rehab.  The bond companies funding the film were so worried by her actions, they pulled their money off the table.  Page Six says:

Lohan was supposed to start filming "Poor Things" with Shirley MacLaine when she was out of rehab. But last week, product vendors got a disturbing e-mail with the subject line: " 'Poor Things' has been cancelled."  It said, "Sorry to be the harbinger of bad news, but I just received a call from Jacky Gilardi, the producer, pulling the plug on the ill-fated film."Apparently, Ms. Lohan's antics in Las Vegas over the weekend have scared the bond companies and all of the funding has been pulled . . . I look forward to working together in the future and trust our next project will not be as fraught with difficulty."The insurers were said to worry that Lohan, despite wearing an alcohol-monitoring device around her ankle and claiming to take daily drug tests, had gone out clubbing with pals.

Whatever.  Making movies is boring, and Lindsay is fun.  Who cares if some stupid movie got shut down.  She just wants to get high and bang some dudes.  It's inspiring to see a girl follow her heart like this.  You could absolutely argue that it makes her one of the greatest heroes of all time.  Definitely way better than that queer George Washington.
