The Drudge Report is running a developing story right now saying that preliminary findings indicate that Ann Nicole Smith died of pneumonia. Pneumonia, of course, is a lung infection that can be caused by different types of germs, most commonly viruses. It is generally treatable but sometimes fatal, killing roughly 2 million people a year, worldwide. It would be unusual for someone in good health with access to proper medical care to die of pneumonia, unless there were other factors involved, such as a weakened immune system. Or at least that’s what those fatcats in DC would like you to believe. I think its obvious that Anna knew too much. This one goes to the highest levels, man.
UPDATE – umm, okay, so apparently Drudge was quoting the National Enquirer. In other words, never mind. For what its worth, the mag says: "Sources very close to the death investigation told The ENQUIRER that the prescription drugs masked the seriousness of her pneumonia. Anna Nicole had previously been hospitalized for pneumonia in the Bahamas after her son died. This time, the painkillers Anna Nicole was taking masked her symptoms and quickened the deadly effects of the pneumonia."
