BRITNEYS HOUSE IS FOR SALE

Britney Spears placed her Malibu mansion on the market yesterday with an asking price of 13.5 million dollars.  Which is a little odd because the house is the only real asset she has to split 50/50 with Kevin Federline, and she’s asking almost twice what she paid for it just two years ago.  You might think she'd just resell it for that or maybe even less and limit her payout to Kevin, but I guess not.  Anyway, Contact Music says:

Federline was unemployed when Spears paid $6.9 million (GBP3.8 million) for the eight-bedroom home following their October 2004 wedding. The lavish abode includes an outdoor kitchen, spa, gym, tennis courts, $150,000 (GBP83,000) nursery and a recording studio.

I like to think there’s also an out-of-service bridge somewhere on the property that marks the county line, so when Britney is runnin from the sheriff who’s after her because of her illegal still, she can jump the crik and cross the county line and then the sheriff has to stop and get out his car and throw his hat down, real frustrated because that Spears girl gone and dun it agin.
