LINDSAY LOHAN GOT ROBBED. OR MAYBE NOT

Just minutes ago, British police said they have recovered the handbag that Lindsay Lohan reported missing.  Early reports said the contents of the bag were worth roughly one million dollars.  Yahoo quotes a police spokeswoman:

"A member of the public contacted us to say they had found it and brought it in.  We have not yet established what, if anything, is missing."

Seems kinda easy to be a cop in London.  People just bring you stuff.  But, wait, so, did Lindsay have the bag stolen, or did she just leave it lying around with a million dollars in diamonds inside.  It kinda feels like she just left it lying around.  A thief probably wouldn’t empty the bag out, then walk around with diamonds loose in his cupped hands.  Call me a master detective if you like, but that might arouse some suspicion.
