Britney Spears is the big winner

Britney Spears has received an apology from the National Enquirer after they ran a front page story claiming her marriage was over. Britney did not ask for any monetary damages, only that a retraction be printed. The Enquirer said:

“We now accept that their marriage is not over and they are not getting divorced. These allegations are untrue and we now accept Britney’s position that the statements are without foundation. We apologize for any distress caused.”

Holy crap, Britney, you shouldn’t sue them, you should thank them for reminding you. It’s not their fault you’re too gutless to get divorced. Or that you used to be one of the hottest chicks on the planet and now look like something that should be sitting on the ground throwing dirt on itself like an elephant to stay cool. How did you even read that story anyway. Was it printed on a hot dog.
