‘Pirates’ has the biggest weekend ever

‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Mans Chest’ earned 132 million dollars in its first three days of release, breaking every record and recording the biggest opening weekend of all time. Not only did it set the record, it crushed it, topping ‘Spider-Man’ by 18 million dollars.


‘Pirates’ will face some competition this Friday from ‘You, Me and Dupree’, but probably not the week after that from M. Night Shyamalan’s ‘Lady in the Water’. Because, based on stuff I made up just now, people are sick to death of M. Night Shyamalan. And that is 100 percent his fault, because he keeps putting himself in his own movies, and this time even in the damn trailer. What the hell is wrong with this guy. No matter what the movie, he finds a way to jam in one of his poorly delivered and distracting performances. He could make a movie about Rommel, and suddenly the panzer division would be made up of 2000 blue eyed blonds and one dude from Bangladesh.
