The Daily Mirror UK says that Tom Cruise once again finds himself at the center of controversy because of his belief in the healing power of Scientology and his disdain for traditional medicine. He was due to appear at a banquet – where ticket prices began at $6,000 – to raise funds for the New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Project, a scientology program to “purify” firefighters still having health problems caused by their work on 9/11. Cruise and the program are telling the firefighters to stop using inhalers and medication and instead take special saunas, drink cooking oil and take Vitamin B.
Wow, drinking cooking oil does sound a good idea. It’s full of oily goodness. And maybe Tom already knows this, but if you drink orange juice with crushed glass in it, it makes you grow a foot taller overnight! You hear that Tom, a whole foot! You would be almost 5’8″! You should totally try that dude!
