Is there any chance we can finally stop pretending that Bryan Singer is a good director. He’s not. At all. His one great film was the Usual Suspects, but that script by Christopher McQuarrie was so insanely brilliant, you could have just held it up to the light and that would have been a great movie. Singers two X-Men movies were frustrating and boring. It was always one vs. one in a room somewhere. You may have inadvertently replicated this type of battle while playing Five Minutes in Heaven or going to sleep. I had no idea director Brett Ratner had this in him, but this trailer is damn near perfect. I don’t write this page cause I hate Hollywood, I write this page cause it could be so much better. X-Men 3 looks so much better.
