Megyn Kelly’s much hyped interview with Donald Trump consisted of her lobbing him a bunch of softballs and laughing at his jokes like a schoolgirl in heat. This is surprising since prior to the interview Kelly was nearly infallible in the eyes of the media, having withered Trump’s lowly attacks about her period without crying onstage, as was apparently the alternative. In reality she was using Trump to promote her own brand, as she did quite literally by hawking her book during the interview.
The leftist and rightist media are both partly responsible for the Trump candidacy, having covered every idiotic statement diligently before he was ever a legitimate candidate. Kelly insisted repeatedly that she wasn’t doing this while at the same time doing it full bore, which took a lot of those balls that she needed to withstand Trump’s verbal assaults which would have crippled a lesser woman. After laying down in the missionary position for Trump she’s now back on the strong woman card, responding to Trevor Noah calling out the obvious:
“So grateful I have men like @Trevornoah 2 advise on how to deal w/gender attacks- I’m sure his life experience far better than mine on this!”
Since when are gender attacks more potent than general attacks? The implication is that women are weaker than men as they just can’t take it. When they can, they get patted on the back. There are differences between the genders. Men are more aggressive and bigger assholes like Trump. Women are more sensitive and compassionate, like Kelly. It appears she’s trying to be both, but the truth has emerged. They’re probably in on this together. Just fuck and get it over with, from the looks of the interview it’s a definite possibility.
