Martin Shkreli To Be Punched For Charity

Martin Shkreli is desperately trying to win over his haters. A new haircut would be a good start. He just auctioned off the rights to “repeatedly pummel me in the face” to a woman in Florida for $50,000. If he dies, he dies. Shkreli matched the donation and will be giving the money to the family of Mike Kulich, who was Shkreli’s public relations consultant and award winning pornographer who had produced such classics as Anal Artists and Tranny Hookups. He was the guy who would get in the press by offering porn money to charities, which they would then reject, or offering people in human interest stories money to be in porn. He sounds like a pretty solidly not great but not terrible guy, and he will be missed. Can’t wait to hear how Sasha Grey copes through poetry. 

It’s unclear exactly when or how this will work. Quite possibly it’s a total publicity stunt, and never. An undefended punch in the face can kill you. Shkreli is many things but not stupid. The woman who won the auction is basically anonymous, we know only that her name is Katie. Smart money says Shrkeli ran her IP address and knows she’s coming in at around 90 pounds and has an eating disorder. Still you’ve got to admire his creativity. He learned from the best. Rest in Peace Kulich, Bonnie Rotten will drop by once a year and scat on your grave.
