Anna Kendrick Fat Shamed Ruby Rose’s Fat Fingers

The reviews from the critics are piling in and most of them are claiming that Pitch Perfect 3 is pretty terrible. But what’s even worse is how Anna Kendrick’s review as a person also falls into being terrible. She fat finger shamed her co-star Ruby Rose. Yes, shaming the weight of another female’s fingers is actually a thing. Why a lesbian would be upset over owning girthy fingers is confusing, isn’t that the goal?Girth gives an advantage over pencil fingered lesbians so I see no reason to complain or feel self-conscious. The scene didn’t even make the final cut but that didn’t stop Ruby from feeling upset after the improv insult was thrown her way. 

Ruby Rose told TooFab ahead of the movie’s release this Friday that her co-star accidentally made her really self conscious about her fingers while throwing off-the-cuff insults at each other for a scene that didn’t make the final cut in the comedy.

“There was a scene that they took out where they were talking about how my band had gone to Yale and they were like, ‘Well, they can’t be very good’ and then they were like, ‘Oh, they play instruments and they sing? Well, they must be really mean,'” Rose told TooFab. “And then we were actually pretty nice, so we did an ad-lib where Anna was trying to find things that would be wrong with us and she was like, ‘You’ve got fat fingers’ and I literally didn’t know what to do,” Rose told TooFab.

“I was literally looking at my hands going, ‘What?’ And she was like, ‘No you really don’t have fat fingers, I don’t know why I even said that,'” Rose continued. “And I was like, ‘That was a really weird thing to say’ and she’s like, ‘I don’t even know where that came from.'”

But the gag stuck and it became a recurring joke on set.

“I would be on my phone and someone would walk past me and be like, ‘Are you texting or are your fingers too fat?’ And I was like, ‘Guys! I actually have really thin fingers, like what are you talking about?'”

Rose could have made herself instantly feel better had she only chose to acknowledge that she wasn’t the one with the fattest fingers in the room. Rebel Wilson was also on set and her fingers are practically miniature dildos handcrafted from eating too many doughnuts over the years. This was proof that issues celebrity women complain about are virtually endless. Millions of dollars to star in a major motion picture and the world still has to show you sympathy for second guessing the size of your pudgy pointer. Everyone is a victim.
