Phylicia Rashad Doubles Down

Bill Cosby’s TV wife went on ABC to explain how her Cosby rape victim blaming comment was taken out of context. Then she said the same thing again in different words:

“That is not what I said. What I said is, ‘This is not about the women, this is about something else. This is about the obliteration of legacy.”‘

Maybe you’re over thinking it. If you had to pick the most important element of the story, it would be that a bevy of women are adamant Bill Cosby put his dick in them against their will after giving them something from his creepy drug kit. If you had to pick the victim here it would be the women and not Bill Cosby’s legacy. When OJ was accused of murder I don’t think the concern was the integrity of the Buffalo Bills football program and whether to re-edit a bunch of schmaltzy retrospectives on NFL Films. It was more like shit these people are dead and there’s blood pooling everywhere. Phylicia Rashad has some stake here. Pretty soon they’re going to stop airing reruns of The Cosby Show because Dr. Huxtable isn’t supposed to rape his OB/GYN patients. That mortgage is looking pretty steep now. Don’t these selfish bitches understand you need your residuals?
