Some celebrities do actually own a heart. Britney Spears’ father falling ill is the best thing that’s ever happened to Vegas. Not the best for Britney, though. Spears has been canceled until further notice. Why does it take someone to get sick for Spears to do what she should have done years ago. I want to know what a person showing up for a Britney Spears show in 2019 looks like. I’d rather overeat oversized hamburgers at Heart Attack Grill before seeing an almost 40-year-old Spears perform Hit Me Baby One More Time. Both make you want to kill yourself, but at least I wouldn’t do it on an empty stomach.
Britney Spears is putting her new Vegas residency, “Domination,” on hold and going on an “indefinite work hiatus” to care for her father.
According to an emailed statement, Jamie Spears underwent colon surgery two months ago and has since been recovering at home. “I am dedicating my focus and energy to care for my family. We have a very special relationship and I want to be with my family at this time just like they have always been there for me,” Britney wrote, explaining her hiatus. “Thank you to all my fans for your continued love and support during this time. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and I look forward to the time when I can be back on stage performing for all of you.”
Hopefully Britney inspires others to toss in the towel early on their Vegas endeavors. I’m looking at you Farrah Abraham you slutty one trick pony that won’t stop hanging out around Crazy Horse 3 Gentlemen’s Club. In all seriousness, I hope her father is alright. Especially after everything that he’s endured. It’s stressful when your daughter becomes a sex symbol before she’s even gotten a horizontal driver’s license. Who knows how many times R. Kelly knocked on his door asking if his underaged superstar daughter is available for private studio sessions.
I don’t even know where to start with this, because this is so tough for me to say. I will not be performing my new show Domination. I’ve been looking forward to this show and seeing all of you this year, so doing this breaks my heart. pic.twitter.com/kHgFAVTjNA
