Ariana Grande isn’t black, but she’ll be the last to know, at least if you go by some of her previous shenanigans as well as her new music video for 7 rings. In the words of Elton John – Bitch, bitch, the bitch is black. In fact the video – right down to the Asian flare and Bjork slut buns – is remarkably similar to Nicki Minaj’s video for Chun Li. Of course unlike Minaj, Grande isn’t a biological man, but the similarities are still pretty damn glaring.
I have a dream. That one day the panfriedsexual woke af Internet and inbred white nationalist dark web will unite in the knowledge that our reigning pop princess, miss America-hating nymphomaniac Bratz Doll herself, Ariana Grande, is in blackface. Twenty-four-seven. She’s literally Julianne Hough, and we’re just here pretending that she’s not Julianne Hough? Grande’s deep skin tone makes Julianne Hough in blackface look like Casper. People only call out celebs on cultural appropriation when it’s convenient to their cause. And it’s convenient for me to call out Ariana Grande, because frankly, it tickles me. So get on board. Let’s get black to basics.
