Chris Brown Caught Monkeying Around

Chris Brown is the gluten-free version of Michael Jackson. MJ legacy lite has just gotten himself into some hot water with the law once again. Fortunately, officials reassured everyone that no women were harmed in the making of more legal trouble. As we all know Chris’ motto is “rules, and the noses of women that you’re romantically involved with, are meant to be broken.” Brown is being criminally charged for illegally owning a monkey. Maybe that’s where he should have drawn the line when it came to imitating Jackson. Not everyone can have their own version of Bubbles. Because the next step after that is naming your newborn “Comforter” and seeing how much it costs to move the tilt-a-whirl from Knott’s Berry farm to your backyard.

Chris Brown might be better off with cats and dogs, because he just got slapped with criminal charges over his pet monkey … TMZ has learned.

According to legal docs, obtained by TMZ, the Los Angeles City Attorney is charging CB with two counts of having a restricted species without a permit. The crimes carry a maximum sentence of 6 months in jail.

Law enforcement sources say folks notified the California Dept. of Fish and Wildlife, who launched an investigation.

Breezy didn’t have a permit for the monkey, so authorities got a search warrant and planned to raid CB’s home, but he voluntarily agreed to surrender the exotic pet.

Chris is due in court Feb. 6.

I’m sure there are stranger things going on in LA that the LAPD should have tended to before they went on a monkey removal mission. Why not issue a search warrant for Ariel Winter’s abode and finally break up her basement sweatshop full of small Asian children that she forces to make her snacks after hours. Also, her boyfriend looks like he’s on the spectrum and being held in her meaty arms against his will. I’m not excusing Chris Brown for his illegal activity, I’m just saying a surprise sweep in the Beverly Hills area would turn up more unexpected perps than a celebrity medium could have ever predicted.
