Overpriced restaurants are a dime a dozen in LA, and so are sexual predators according to the Me Too movement. For all of you undiscovered serial sexual harassers out there in SoCal, don’t forget, the new rule of thumb is run when you see Ronan Farrow. Fortunately, every 14-year-old boy can breathe a little easier knowing that Kevin Spacey has been outed. Because it was hard for underaged boys to unwind unattended at parties meant for adults when The Golden State gooch tickler was out on the loose. You might just get stopped and feverishly frisked by an unusual suspect you would have never expected in the coat room. Now Spacey can add being stripped from a mural at Catch LA in addition to being stripped from the House of Cards show.
The verdict is in on Kevin Spacey … at least as far as one Hollywood hot spot is concerned … he’s been 86’d from the restaurant’s wall of fame mural.
Spacey used to have a prominent spot on the wall at Catch LA — right next to NBA superstar and all-around good guy Chris Paul, and not far from Mr. Clean. Irony much? Now, he’s been replaced by Sony Music honcho Clive Davis.
Removing Kevin from the same mural that featured Marlon Waynes, Chris Paul, and fictional cartoon character Mr. Clean doesn’t seem like a punishment at all. It just makes me even more curious what other pictures are on the walls of establishments that I never plan on eating at. Can someone confirm or deny the existence of a framed photo at Nobu showcasing Brad Pitt, the black lady from the Pine-Sol commercials, and Dominique Wilkins? I don’t know if it was more embarrassing to be on the mural or removed from it, but in my honest opinion, it feels like they did Spacey a solid without knowing it.
