William H. Macy is a bit bothered at the moment. Particularly he’s worried about his daughters not having a fulfilling sex life. With worries like those it’s not hard to see why he was selected to star in Shameless. His daughter’s ages are 17 and 16. And Will just wants them to have guilt-free fun in the bedroom. No walk of shames for the offspring of this shameless dad. Maybe Macy can attend Amber Rose’s annual Slut Walk with “I’m a hoe too” written on poster board to feel really empowered alongside the two special women in his life. Because the sex lives of a man’s daughters should definitely be of some concern. Before it was just making sure you gave her enough hugs to keep her off the pole but this right here is proactive parenting. Way to go Will.
Veteran actor William H. Macy, 68, recently told Us Weekly that he’s rooting for his two daughters (Sofia, 17, and Georgia, 16) to have healthy, guilt-free sex lives.William says that he used to feel like he had to be overly protective of his daughters when it came to boys. But he quickly got over that and is now practically offering to drive them to an IUD insertion procedure after cheerleading practice. “You know, I started doing all the cliches, ‘I’m gonna threaten the guys, I’m gonna dig a moat around our house,’” Macy, 68, told Us Weekly while promoting his Showtime drama in L.A. on Thursday, May 24. “And then I thought, ‘OK, what do you really want for your daughters?’ And I realized: I want them to be happy and lusty and safe. I want them to have a lot of sex in their lifetime! Good, healthy wonderful sex with no guilt. That’s what I really want.”
I understand Macy wanting to be involved but the issue feels more like something their mother should be bothered over. Being understanding when it comes to your teens having sex is one thing, supporting her calling another man daddy who has never changed her diaper once is something else. Macy should just pretend that his daughters value morality and the importance of abstinence before marriage, then avoid talking to them for a few years after they get pregnant like most dads do when they’re in denial of their daughters doing the no pants dance.
