Selena Gomez Slams People Who Commented On Her Fat Scarred Body

March 20, 2018 | celebrity | Sam Robeson | 0 Comments

Consider us slammed. Yesterday everyone and their mom was talking about Selena Gomez looking like a droopy bag of marbles while on a yacht off the coast of Australia, and now she’s here to tell us that while she does have the exotic body shape of E.T. we shouldn’t criticize it. Because her career was founded on everything but being bangable. Her voice… Adele. Her songwriting ability… Paul Simon. Her acting… Meryl Streep. Gomez’s looks were never part of the equation and to bring them in now – when she has a huge publicity scar on her thigh and a stomach that extends as far out as her boobs – is seriously wrong:

The beauty myth- an obsession with physical perfection that traps modern woman in an endless cycle of hopelessness, self consciousness, and self-hatred as she tries to fulfill society’s impossible definition of flawless beauty. I chose to take care of myself because I want to, not to prove anything to anyone. Wind in her sails.

But… do you take care of yourself? The twenty-five-year-old Gomez spent her youth setting unrealistic body goals for impressionable young women by showing off her hot bod in next to nothing, and at times flaunting her nips and writhing on the kitchen floor. But girls of the world. None of this is important… once you let your body go. Because then you need to renounce sexuality and claim that success in Hollywood is entirely contingent on what’s on the inside. That’s why Disney execs chose underage Gomez for Wizards of Waverly place back in the day. Not because they wanted to fuck her. But because of her tight young teen brain.
