An old and overweight woman once told me that a person can never be too young, too thin, or too rich, to which I said “At what point did life take a dump on you” and to which I later thought “The old lard wagon has a point.” The three pillars of Hollwood success – aside from the retelling of mutually agreed upon sexual favors as assault when it coincides with a hashtag – are youth, thinness, and wealth, and Gigi Hadid has all these things going for her whether you like it or not h8er.
Apparently social media users have been pegging the preferred model of purchased Instagram bot followers as too thin, and now she’s here to clap back and to make sure that we all know she’s very skinny and desirable and that her looks definitely are not a result of anorexia TYVM. Like Gig’s sex robot sister and used up leather boot mother, Hadid suffers from like ten diseases or something, and sure isn’t shy about sharing them on Twitter:
For those of you so determined to come up w why my body has changed over the years, you may not know that when I started @ 17 I was not yet diagnosed w/Hashimoto’s disease; those of u who called me “too big for the industry” were seeing inflammation & water retention due to that.

Over the last few years I’ve been properly medicated to help symptoms including those, as well as extreme fatigue, metabolism issues, body’s ability to retain heat, etc … I was also part of a holistic medical trial that helped my thyroid levels balance out.

Although stress & excessive travel can also affect the body, I have always eaten the same, my body just handles it differently now that my health is better. I may be “too skinny” for u, honestly this skinny isn’t what I want to be, but I feel healthier internally and (cont)

I will not further explain the way my body looks, just as anyone, with a body type that doesnt suit ur “beauty” expectation, shouldnt have to. Not to judge others, but drugs are not my thing, stop putting me in that box just because u dont understand the way my body has matured.

Please, as social media users & human beings in general, learn to have more empathy for others and know that you never really know the whole story. Use your energy to lift those that you admire rather than be cruel to those u don’t.

I miss the years when celebrities chalked up their eating disorders and crack habits (allegedly, don’t sue) to “celebrity fatigue” but I guess the good old days are gone. This whole thing is a way for Gigi to backdoor brag about being thin, but honestly she has a way to go before she can join the fashion eating disorder elite. Allegedly. Below is popular model Alana Zimmer. Now this is how you look terrifying and pitiable like a real model. Get to work Gigi.
