Marky Mark Wahlberg didn’t make the same mistake many other melanin devoid rappers outside of the Eminem exception make which is stay in rap too long. He could have easily been just another Vanilla Ice if he didn’t transition into movies. But now that he has made millions and only two films that are actually watchable, Shooter and Ted, he’s decided to turn his back on his gender. Wahlberg is using large sums of money to run down the clock on the toxic masculinity that paid him more money than co-star Michelle Williams during All The Money In The World reshoots. Time’s Up for unequal pay, sexual harassment, and just looking in the direction of women in general. Men must have consent for conversations with the opposite sex in 2018 and stray away from all sexual innuendos, jokes, or topics not focused on the weather we are having or will have within the week.
Mark Wahlberg:
“Over the last few days my reshoot fee for All the Money in the World has become an important topic of conversation,” Wahlberg said in a statement on Saturday. “I 100 percent support the fight for fair pay and I’m donating the $1.5 million to the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund in Michelle Williams’ name.”
The pay-gap problem is a Hollywood problem. Women aren’t fighting for equal pay anywhere else. In fact in porn the women are paid ridiculously more money than men. Where is the male revolution against an industry that is open about paying women way more for the same scene? I can see the similarities as Hollywood and porn both involve filming and women using sex as a way to make money but fair is fair. With no leader or plan in the pipeline the Time’s Up movement isn’t doing much outside of creating more male apologists. Pretty soon men will make less while still being required to hold her door open and pay for dinner until she’s fed up, leaving with half of what little you own.
