Having a celebrity be your employer can go one of two ways. You get a really relaxed boss because someone told them to invest in owning a business they knew nothing about to begin with or you get some perfectionist that doesn’t hold themselves to the same standard when it comes to their own work. I can just imagine what it would be like working for Adam Sandler if he ever decided to open a coffee shop. But the celebrity under fire is Kate Hudson for firing an Ambien addicted employee. Female celebrities are natural born victims so the victim card didn’t work in the employee’s favor this time. They told her to get lost after too much time off. But she did get an out of court settlement for an undisclosed amount. The settlement could be considered somewhat of a forced severance package. Another win for the little people.
Kate Hudson‘s online retailer just cleared one of its legal headaches by settling its lawsuit against her.
Talitha Peters — a former exec at Fabletics — filed new legal docs obtained by TMZ to have her lawsuit against the retailer thrown out after striking a settlement for an undisclosed amount.
As we reported … Peters sued Fabletics and parent company JustFab last October claiming Fabletics gave her the ax because she went to rehab to treat her Ambien addiction.
Peters said the retailer was all good with her taking time off at first, but then stuck their nose in her biz and 86’d her the day she was supposed to return.
It’s amazing the amount of money you can make on the side when selling dreams to overweight women. Nike And Adidas already incorporate advanced technology into their clothes to optimize any workout. But obese women aren’t into actually working out. Just wearing “cute” clothes that look like they’re going to or coming from the gym. Never really making an appearance. And that’s why brands like Kate Hudson’s Fabletics exists. Maybe Kate could have been a little more lenient. But she did shave her head and looks like she wears the pants in her relationship. Now she’s paying out of court settlements to keep women quiet. It’s only a matter of time before she starts making individuals under her wing watch her take showers whether they like it or not.
