Tyrese Bitches at The Rock For Being More Successful

Fast and Furious 9 has been pushed back from 2019 to a 2020 release date. If you’ve lost your will to live, people will understand. Tyrese Gibson publicly blamed the year longer wait on Dwayne Johnson and his producing partner pushing back the schedule to better fit their own best interests. In short, The Rock’s triple booked on film projects, including potentially his own FF Hobbs’ character spinoff, and Tyrese has nothing but social media video selfies until the next car chase movie.

In case you don’t speak teen girl bitching, that’s a text book example. As if the Fast and Furious franchise has some underlying artistic and social value The Rock is squelching. It’s a cash cow to which Tyrese and many others pray for survival as single digit millionaires. The Rock owns the herd. His introduction to the Fast and Furious likely saved the franchise from cold storage. Or in the least turned around the ship and a big pay day for the second tier of actors who get a fat check every two years for being attached. 

Despite having no acting skills, Dwayne Johnson has turned himself into a mega-actor. He and Wahlberg in a similar manner have turned an acting range akin to Madonna’s musical range into massive star power. That’s for both starring in films and getting them produced in the first place. Outside of sci-fi action films, these two own the young male tentpole cinema demographic. 

Tyrese is well down the list. He does have the fact that every chick in the world practically wants to bang him, which is no small gift. He still gets the tail even if he moans like a baby chick on Instagram. But he needs to understand he’s the punter on this winning team. You get a paycheck and a ring. You don’t get to bitch publicly about the play-calling.
