Paul Walker played an instrumental role in the success of the Fast and Furious series. He contributed way more to the films than just being the “cool white guy” he was often typecast as. That’s why the final scene in F&F 7 was hard to watch. And not just because of the terrible tribute song coupled with CGI that made Paul Walker’s eyes look like Steve Buscemi’s in Mr. Deeds. We live in a world with Tupac holograms and dying mid movie won’t put a halt on a million dollar investment. Everyone in entertainment is coming back from the dead. Killed in car accident? Walk that shit off, we have a movie to finish. His daughter, Meadow Rain Walker, initially sued Porsche after her father’s death, but recently both parties mutually agreed on dropping the wrongful death suit.
Meadow Walker received $10.1 million in a separate settlement last year with the estate of Roger Rhodas, the driver of the Carrera GT involved in the crash that led to Paul Walker’s death.
The wrongful death suit against Porsche was filed by Meadow Walker back in 2015, claiming the Carrera GT Paul Walker was in when he died was known for “instability issues” and that Walker initially survived the crash but was trapped inside the burning vehicle by his seat belt. A judge determined Porsche was at no fault in the crash earlier last year.
Both Meadow Walker and Porsche have officially requested the wrongful death suit be dropped.
10 million dollars will buy a lot but it won’t buy your dad back from the dead which is unfortunate. What’s even crazier is this country mourned the loss of cartoon dog Brian from Family Guy around the same time. Also killed in a car related accident. Undiagnosed autism at it’s finest when a majority of a nation sheds the same amount of tears for a cartoon as an actual human that burned to death in a car most people can’t afford. Either way one of the fictional Brian characters came back while the other didn’t. If you’re unsure which one you’re apart of the problem. I bet you believe the Earth is flat too. I know this is an inappropriate time to bring this up but Meadow Rain Walker is attractive and 18. Just leaving that information out there for anyone interested. And her name is Meadow Rain Walker, there’s no way she doesn’t have some type of magical powers you hear so much about in every dystopian young adult novel.
