Existential reality crises coupled the illusion of space and time along with alternate realms of consciousness is something Keanu Reeves wants no part of as a Hollywood reboot. And for once we can actually say Keanu did something good for the people. Allegedly there’s a screenplay for a fourth movie being written by Zak Penn. There are some things that don’t need to be revisited and another Matrix movie is on that list. Aside from an awkward gap in the series that would rival that of The Godfather two and three, people wouldn’t really have a reason to care that another Matrix exists. The entire angle of the Matrix for the majority population on the blue pill to even see the movie was the “cool special effects,” not that their entire reality could be a lie.
Keanu Reeves, the star of “The Matrix” trilogy that became iconic movies, has no idea that a reboot is in the works. The actor, who played the hacker Neo in the films, assessed that a remake might not be a good idea.
Keanu managed to answer questions about other projects like John Wick getting a third movie and a sci-fi thriller Replica where he clones his dead family. Which is basically the real life version of Rick from Rick and Morty. I’d take a Pickle Rick movie over anything Keanu had to offer after Matrix Reloaded. And that’s pushing it. Constantine was only sort of cool if your parents were heavily into Christianity and you weren’t allowed to watch films like that.
