Kate Beckinsale’s Daughter Dislikes Wearing Tops

A topless teen is more than enough to get my attention. Add the fact that it’s Kate Beckinsale’s daughter, Lily Mo Sheen, and I’m all eyes and ears. Lily just turned 18 this year and it shows. Because everyone knows when you turn 18 it’s time to take the tatas out on the ‘gram as a celebratory right of passage into womanhood. In bed she’s laying next to another topless woman who didn’t want her face in the photo. I’d like to point out the sexual privilege women have here. Laying topless, and almost certainly bottomless, with another woman in bed and still being able to claim full heterosexual status is something no man could do with another man. Definitely not complaining, just saying, check your privilege.  

I’m not sure how much of Instagram’s policies have changed since the “free the nipple” movement but I feel like maybe utilizing a very small emoji to censor instead of an intrusively angled full forearm would have worked better. Just a suggestion. You can’t proactively post a provocative picture and then act like you had no idea what you were doing. You’re 18 now. It’s time to grow up. There’s no more “I’ll show you mine if you show me yours” anymore. Being a female celebrity means being completely comfortable with your privacy being exposed on the internet for the world to see. If you want to be somewhat chaste when it comes to being topless McDonalds is always hiring. And most women who work there would without hesitation take their top off just to be lead manager in charge of french fry duty. Count your blessings.
