Jennifer Lawrence Taking A Hiatus

Celebrities have it easy. The option to randomly take a hiatus mid-career for no other reason than just because is a luxury most people watching them on the big screen can’t afford with their own jobs. I’ve actually tried it once with my brief stint pushing carts at Target. I was shocked to learn how replaceable I was. Jennifer Lawrence may learn the same lesson when she decides to return from taking two years off. There is always an abundance of younger, hotter, and willing to do anything for that acting position pool of women who specifically lay in wait for an opportunity like this.

Jennifer Lawrence is gearing up for a break from the spotlight. While promoting her new movie Mother! on the Today show, J.Law confirmed that she is planning a “break” from acting. It appears as though the A-lister is considering different artistic outlets to pursue. When asked by Savannah what she plans to do in her downtime, Jennifer quipped: “Start making pots?”

Maybe her role in Mother! took a lot out of her. Having your worst career opener will do that to you. Having your boyfriend also be your boss is also stressful. With Jennifer out of the picture, Hollywood is probably going to have to draft and groom some underaged Disney star on the rise. If you start at the right age you can avoid a Miley Cyrus situation. There’s still no Oscar available yet for best culturally appropriated twerk on camera. If Lawrence is smart she’ll come back before age 30. For a woman in Hollywood, anything past that age won’t allow for landing parts outside of a crypt keeper or elderly person extra on set.
