Contrary to most movies and every Disney film ever, real selfless love doesn’t exist. Outside of the controlled vacuum on screen where the couples live happily ever after, everyone else not in la la land happens to live in the real world. Full of incurable STDs, child support, and alimony payments. All byproducts and side effects of this “love” everyone believes in. Now that David Hasselhoff and Pamela Bach have been done with love since 2006 he wants to be done paying her spousal support. What washed up woman with no recent acting opportunities other than reality show Big Brother would willing admit she’s being paid $21 K too much from her husband. Either way Hasselhoff has had enough. He’s legally trying to kick her off the cash train she’s been riding for years.
David filed docs requesting an immediate end to his alimony payments to Pamela Bach. The couple divorced in 2006, and for a long time he was paying her $21k per month. Last year he got that cut in half — saying he was too broke to shell out so much — and now he wants the amount cut to zilch. In his docs, the Hoff points out Pamela’s shown a “failure to make any efforts to become self supporting, contribute to her own support, or even make any efforts to gain job skills.” Translation: she’s sitting on her ass living off my money!
If Pamela is proven not worthy of receiving any more of David’s money, then some teen employee’s hours at Target is about to get cut. An extra 21 grand a month is equal to about 2 trips to a stay-at-home spouse’s favorite spot. I don’t think full-time decorator of your own house is what the courts look for when they allow alimony payments in order for ex-wives to support themselves. That means get a job. Not support an unhealthy shopping addiction with “so cute I can’t even” home goods. Either way the delicate ecosystem of overpriced merchandise at the only other department store option to Walmart is about to feel the burn when David pulls out.
