Ronda Rousey fights more for attention than she does in the UFC. Even with that fact, her pop up marriage still got overshadowed by a Mayweather fight. I guess she wanted to wed while all of America wasn’t watching. Rousey married UFC heavyweight fighter Travis Browne in Hawaii. The rest of the world decided paying $100 to see Floyd fight McGregor was the more interesting event. Floyd beat McGregor but the only surprise of that day was Ronda actually married a man. I didn’t know there were legitimate heterosexual female fighters in the UFC.
Rousey and Browne were pretty successful on keeping the nuptials under wraps from social media and more. In fact, it might have gone unnoticed by the public, had not UFC president Dana White mentioned it on the Rich Eisen Show this past Friday. “Ronda Rousey gets married tomorrow. Tomorrow is her wedding, and she’s in a good place. She’s really happy, and she hasn’t announced her retirement or anything like that. She’s focusing on this wedding.” – Dana White
Those domestic disturbance calls to the house should be very entertaining. I would dread being the cop on call to that house to break that up. Imagine going to cuff either one of the couple and being put in a double reverse armbar. At least if they chose to have children the kid will never have to deal with bullies. And you can bet your bottom dollar that’s gonna be one brolic baby, boy or girl. I need more from Rousey before she completely calls it quits with the UFC. She was one of the more attractive female fighters. All of the other girls have faces that can only be produced from ex-communist countries.
