Gloria Allred Being Sued

Gloria Allred is being sued by a former celebrity client who claims she put the interest of her own TV deal at CBS over his lawsuit against CBS. Kyle Hunter had hired Allred to go after CBS for only considering young attractive females for the open TV weather gig on their local owned and operated stations. Hunter claims he had twenty years professional meteorological experience while the hot chicks had little to none. One could identify the sun in the sky with three or fewer guesses. But oh, those magnificent tits. This was to be the first ever male plaintiff under California’s gender workplace discrimination laws.

In his newly filed lawsuit, Hunter claims Allred and her firm took his case with the promise of pursuing CBS with extreme vigor. Allred obviously loved the media attention surrounding the case. But that Allred flopped his litigation when she started having personal discussions with CBS to create a legal drama based upon her real life. As evidence, Hunter claims Allred never followed up with the long list of workplace witnesses he provided. The judge in the discrimination case ruled in favor of CBS and ordered Hunter to pay CBS $800,000 in legal fees and expenses from the trial. 

Legally, Hunter’s malfeasance lawsuit is going nowhere. Karmically, it’s fun to consider Allred taking a body blow. Allred is a notably self-interested attorney who uses the vague category of women’s rights to collect fame and money chits. She cares about her clients like Don King cared about his boxers. Where’s the camera and where’s my check?

Allred’s not stupid. Even if she intended to scuttle Hunter’s case as some bigger TV deal quid pro quo, she wouldn’t leave behind any actionable evidence. She and her firm are already issuing statements about all the legal work done on Hunter’s behalf and questioning his motivation.

You’re going to lose again, male meteorologist. Consider a new line of work where you’re not forever replaceable by a hot young woman. That’s only funny because there are none.
