ABC’s Bachelor In Paradise Shut Down Over a Little Non-Consensual Cunnilingus

It’s odd that a heavily staged reality show would face its demons after fifteen years for doing the same miscreant bullshit it’s been doing for fifteen years. Crappy produced reality television for women, meet 2017 social and political hysterical hype by women. It’s the unstoppable force versus the immovable object, with a dash of vagina licking and hard liquor.

The Bachelor in Paradise is a spinoff of the original Bachelor TV show on ABC, wherein wanna be actors and celebrities disguised as slutty young people who look great in suits and dresses engage in a fake courting process that results in a fake marriage that either never takes place or is immediately. It’s romance pornography for the lonely hearts. Never judge another person’s pornography too harshly. Glass houses and all that.

The Bachelor in Paradise brings back former failed contestants to do it all over again in a tropical setting. Or a beach hotel within an hour of Los Angeles. Cheaper insurance. Corrine Olympios has caused a ruckus in the ruse of The Bachelor in Paradise show by claiming she was sexually assaulted in a swimming pool by bachelor DeMario Jackson on camera. Jackson has admitted to “rubbing, touching, fingering, and licking” her Olympios’ genitals. That seems like way to many action verbs for the occasion. Also, just once, can somebody say on legal record, clam tickling.

Jackson claims the sex was consensual, Olympios claims she was drunk as a skunk and can’t remember a thing. And to boot, producers knew she was and allowed if not encouraged the sexual shenanigans.

Olympios notes she’s not blaming Jackson, but rather the show supervisors for being told that Olympios might be too drunk and allowing the underwater third base to continue for great television. Though by making the claim against the show, Olympios is necessarily accusing Jackson of sexual assault. You can’t have one without the other.

Sex play and sexual teasing, not to mention excessive booze, is the better part of the show. There is no close second. Olympios has retained a lawyer to discuss her various opportunistic and cash generating options. Warner Bros. who produces the show for ABC has shut down production pending an investigation.

This reeks of ploy yet, Believe Her. Hillary taught us that. Now, the same political trivialization of sexual assault that has labeled every college male a rapist will be used to render ABC and Warner Bros. that much less wealthy. Hoisted by your own petard. Expect Olympios to be on summer tour with Cash Me Ousside girl by week’s end.
