Chrissy Metz Spherical For Progress At MTV Awards

This is Us star Chrissy Metz showed up to last night’s MTV Movie Awards looking stunning. Said no one. Save for the guy who always rushes for the candied apples at the State Fair because it’s a tradition. Chrissy Metz took a real risk wearing a skin tight latex dress onto the red carpet at the MTV awards, where for all their talk of diversity, she’d never be cast on a single one of their shows. Metz waved red meat in front of starving Internet trolls. Then she recoiled with a tweet once they partook in the feast:

“It’s my body” was previously reserved for private decisions. Opening that up to a defense of public behavior is going to lead dudes with enormous hairy sacks bouncing freely in line behind you at taco carts. We get Metz in vinyl couch cover and free balling scrote? Who voted for that?

Metz either has one fucked up mirror at home or she knows exactly what she’s doing. Her prominent role on a hit NBC series and substantial social media following suggest the latter, though don’t discount luck in the process. This is a calculated attempt to look as conspicuous as possible. She beat Amy Schumer, the pre-deflated Lena Dunham, and Ashley Graham at their own game. They should want Metz dead. Unfortunately taking her down would be like tackling a rhino in a slippery body suit. 

Gleeful body shamers will create a national holiday for Metz. Their fingers are bloody stumps after binge typing with the material provided by Metz’s red planet last night. Her fans can congratulate themselves for championing her body positive whatever the fuck she did. Everybody wins. Put on another hundred lbs. and come back when you’re truly ready for a fight, Ashley Graham.
