Bow Wow Master Publicist

After being throughly embarrassed for posting a stock photo of a private jet while flying coach in Southwest, Bow Wow appeared on a morning show and claimed he did it on purpose to promote a reality show he will be appearing on. Of course you are. This entire situation is a microcosm of reality TV culture in a nutshell. They say no publicity is bad publicity, but Kim Kardashian’s leaking deflated garbage bag ass and Bow Wow are putting that theory to the test. He opened with a funny line:

“I took the Greyhound here this morning.”

Alright, you fucked up. We’ve all done some variation of this to impress a chick or a potential employer. Wrapping a bunch of ones in a hundred dollar bill. Borrowed your dad’s car. Whatever. We’ve all also been caught lying about having dated Jennifer Love Hewitt but had the self respect to admit it when she doesn’t recognize you at the bar. Bow Wow has taken the approach of doubling down, claiming this is all a part of his grand scheme: 

“I love it because people don’t understand the scientific method to my madness. They really don’t understand the scientific method to my madness.”

No, few people would understand why you would voluntarily make a huge asshole out of yourself by coming off as a complete tool. Even Stephen Hawking wouldn’t really get it. 

The show is called Growing Up Hip Hop and stars Bow Wow, Lil’ Wayne’s daughter, TI’s daughter, Jermaine Dupri’s daughter, and one of the Beastie Boy’s daughters. If you’re a fan of any of those people or just have an aversion to annoying content, consider avoiding this show at all costs.

Kanye West made a name for himself by trolling, the difference is he never fully pulled back the veil to reveal an autistic bicurious dude who talks about shoes with his wife he discovered while searching for Ray J’s porn. That would be kind of depressing, not as much as a Southwest flight, but close. Fake it til you make it, or turn forty whichever comes last.
