Azealia Banks Keeping Everyone in the Loop

Since complete strangers can’t witness your miscarriage, Azealia Banks went on social media to discuss the recent loss of her pregnancy, or as she claims it occurred. It’s possibly cruel to suggest a woman is faking miscarriage news, but the last several things Banks has claimed quite publicly have turned out to be patently untrue. People will remember when you accuse Russell Crowe of horrible things that don’t happen to be among the many horrible things he has done. Remember the story of the girl who cried wolf, especially the racist girl. 

Banks wove her miscarriage news and tumult of her emotions around her loss in between criticisms of Nicki Minaj and several other derogatory comments. You never know how to react when a person incessantly filled with hateful words reaches out at rock bottom for some kind ones. Unless you come from a large Irish family. One of her followers suggested Banks maybe keep her miscarriage news more private, or at least until she’s had more time to reflect, or at least maybe ten minutes since the last splotching:

It’s life and we all live it together. Everyone farts, shits, fucks , eats and sleeps. It’s bodily function 101. Why the need for secrecy.

That would be an entirely idiotic point if it weren’t for the fact that tons of people share all those other bodily function on social media as well. We’ve become greatly infected by oversharing. You could suggest that the need for sympathetic human connection is at the heart of this phenomena. But then you’d be completely be ignoring the more obvious narcissism and ego gratification. Also, being an asshole back to the last few people on earth who care about you as a person. 

Banks deleted her entire set of likely drunken-state shares. She claimed her thoughts weren’t safe from the trolls. Which shows some lack of self-awareness after trolling Nicki Minaj and your recently departed embryo. There’s room for you in heaven if you can rise above another’s perpetual racism, nasty comments, and self-centeredness to comfort them still in their time of need. Though no room currently on Twitter.
