Twitter has 974 million accounts. About a third of those are active users, the rest bots or dummies or abandoned accounts. Every year Twitter makes a big deal about suspending a minuscule fraction of active accounts for abusive behavior. Sort of like how Napster went after that one young chick in Minnesota or Wisconsin for nine thousand prison years and the Gross National Product of Suriname in civil damages. Everybody else in the world got free music for three years.
Twitter dispenses suspension justice based upon one overriding rule. Is there an embarrassing story in the press about something on Twitter? They’re like the parents who want so badly to be their kids’ friends. They punish very reluctantly. Tila Tequila was released from her in-patient dormitory in time for a Hitler salute at a Washington DC white supremacists dinner. Tequila has been pushing the Nazi nonsense for at least a couple of years now but there was a meetings and everybody decided it was too amusing to stop her. Twitter changed their minds when her latest work made front page headlines. Suspension.
The more rational noted Tequila is a mentally ill gay Asian porn star midget and would get a ride along with the Jews and gypsies to the ovens in any Nazi controlled land. The less rational blamed Trump even though even Trump wouldn’t fuck her at this point. Twitter is safe for the children again. The other three hundred million seem like good people.
