Tom Brady No Comment On Trump

Tom Brady is friends with Donald Trump because he gets free golf out of the deal and Brady is nothing if not pragmatic. Over/under he spends 45 minutes on the phone per week haggling with Time Warner to knock a few bucks off his package. It’s not really about the money he just has very few hobbies outside of football. The two apparently met when Brady judged the Miss USA pageant during his single days. Again, the pragmatism. Brady caused a minor stir when a Donald Trump hat was spotted in his locker, and when asked if he wanted Trump to be president he said: 

“I hope so. That would be great. There’d be a putting green on the White House lawn. I know that.” 

Brady is most likely a Republican based on jawline and his lack of interest in culture, yet most likely doesn’t follow politics as he’s more interested in pool covers. He was recently asked about Trump’s pussy grabbing comments during a press session: 

“Tom, you have kids of your own – how would you respond if your kids heard Donald Trump’s version of locker room talk?”

Unclear what that means, like Trump hanging out near the water fountain at their school and scoping out the TA’s? Brady smiled and walked away without saying a word.

Many athletes have been quick to point out that their locker room discussion does not involve pussy grabbing and mainly chess strategy and early Cat Stevens. Brady’s too far removed to usually get his high fives returned from his teammates so the concept of socializing is probably over his head. More so than avoiding the question, it probably just didn’t register. Robot does not compute. Free golf, absolutely.
