Taylor Swift has vociferously maintained that she had no advanced knowledge that Kanye would malign and objectify her sexually her in his idiotic song, Famous. Swift insists she was shocked and pissed on behalf of herself and all woman-kind when she heard these misogynistic lyrics in Famous:
For all my Southside niggas that know me best
I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex
Why? I made that bitch famous
God damn
I made that bitch famous
Kim Kardashian maintained throughout the controversy that Swift was bullshitting and was completely in on the publicity stunt to be included in the song. Swift refused to drop her feigned disgust so Kardashian released taped recordings of Swift on the phone with Kanye discussing the lyrics in the song and the ruse to follow. Swift almost seems to be leading the conspiracy of dunces.
150 million largely fake Instagram users in numerous ‘-stan’ nations have now gone to war over the blowup. Swift responded to her total and complete disingenuous coming out party with a counter Twitter rant that made almost no sense, though consider her audience.
That moment when Kanye West secretly records your phone call, then Kim posts it on the Internet…. Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me “that bitch” in the song? It doesn’t exist because it never happened. You don’t get to control somebody else’s emotional response to being called “that bitch” in front of the entire world. Of course I wanted to like the song. I wanted us to have a friendly relationship. He promised to play the song for me, but he never did. While I wanted to be supportive of Kanye on the phone call, you cannot “approve” a song you’ve never heard. Being falsely painted as a liar when I was never given the full story or played any part of the song is character assassination. I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative, one that I have never asked to be a part of, since 2009.
So, yeah, you got me. Parsing worked better in a pre-Hillary Clinton world. You thought it’d be a sweet promotional bit to have Kanye say he might still have sex with you and pretend to be offended, but you never though he’d go and use the phrase ‘that bitch’. How demeaning to a woman who’s earnestly trying to conspire to deceive the public.
Kanye and his wife are horrible, shameless, self-serving fame whores. Taylor Swift remains worse for being the same but pretending she’s above it all. Nobody hates the openly gross whore, they pity her. It’s hard to love the one who’s insisting she’s clean.
