We’re going to feel bad for laughing about Johnny Manziel when he’s dead in six months but in the meantime we should make hay while the sun is shining. His attorney in his hit-and-run case just accidentally texted the entire Associated Press that Manziel is unable to sober up for a court appearance. His dad is also openly slamming him in the news. It’s obviously an asshole move, but he so obviously deserves it. His statements don’t leave a ton of room for interpretation:
“I hate to say it but I hope he goes to jail. I mean, that would be the best place for him. He’s a druggie. It’s not a secret that he’s a druggie. I don’t know what to say other than my son is a druggie and he needs help. He just hasn’t seeked it yet. Hopefully he doesn’t die before he comes to his senses.”
So you’re unequivocally saying there’s no hope? With such shit bag parenting it’s no wonder he crumbled under the pressure. The time has come to take an honest approach to this. Manziel is not going to play football anymore, we already have one Todd Marinovich. Best case scenario he makes it to fifty. We’re hoping for more years than touchdowns. Amazon the fingerless gloves and bum cap.
