Aubrey Plaza and a bunch of other female celebrities who you’ve never heard of so not celebrities have a women’s basketball league in West Hollywood. Unlike the WNBA, it’s not subsidized heavily by the male version of the sport. Like the WNBA, nobody cares. Plaza publicizes the hell out of the rec league including a big spread in GQ and now a documentary film. If you’ve ever wondered how once in a while actors and hair dressers and the chick who orders them all their organic hand creme ball, you’re going to want to check out Pistol Shrimps.
When Hollywood stops being so sexist, we can expect much more of this cinematic content. So, I guess keep Hollywood sexist. More choices is cable provider speak for channels you never watch.
