Jane Sanders Runs Burlington Into the Ground

Think of Socialism as putting your teenage daughter in charge of the family credit card and dad’s only response can be driving Uber nights to cover the cost. Bernie Sanders’ wife Jane Sanders ran Burlington College using the principles of finance gleaned from post-Romanov schoolbooks in Russia. Sanders took out massive loans under the college’s name to acquire land being auctioned off by the Catholic Church to cover their sex abuse settlements. Expensive hobbies are the worst.

Jane Sanders bailed Burlington College with her $200,000 severance package when it became clear the loans she took out were going to sink the college. Burlington College this week announced it’s going under and won’t be offering classes come Fall. The combination skin lesbians and children of hemp sweater makers attending the school will be accommodated by other Vermont colleges. For her part, Sanders is now being investigated to see if she lied about collateral available for the big land grab. If found guilty, she’l be sentenced to several more years of listening to Bernie rant while standing naked in the kitchen. Tweak that Socialism and give it another shot.
