Jennifer Lopez Teams Up with Dr. Luke

Former Fly Girl Jennifer Lopez released a new song. Boring. The catchy new auto-tuned ditty was produced by Kesha accused rapist, hit maker and star music producer Dr. Luke. Kesha has lost every significant court battle against Dr. Luke, but she dropped the word “rape” which is like releasing the feminist Krakken. Hillary Clinton reminded us that a woman is to be believed in her rape accusations until proven false. And even then, still mostly. 

Until such time as Dr. Luke is able to prove Kesha’s unfounded allegations are unfounded, he’s the golem with whom no woman may collaborate. Angry female Twitter trolls who don’t personally know any of the involved parties or facts of the case blasted J. Lo for her gender betrayal.

“I love @JLo but I will not support a song produced by rapist and monster dr Luke. Im so disappointed you still worked with him.”

“I wish JLO nothing but menopause and low sales with her Dr. Luke lead single.”

Points for the menopause joke. Although I don’t get it. Jennifer Lopez has built a twenty year long music career faking it. Guys like Dr. Luke are beyond a necessity to turning a Puerto Rican with a nice ass and half an octave in vocal range into a mega pop music star. Dr. Luke probably brought up the Kesha rape and they both had a laugh. This isn’t music. This is war. Sometimes the homely hausfraus are the only way to make sense of the rubble.
