T.I. is not interested in buying the Atlanta Hawks, although conversely the Atlanta Hawks couldn’t care less how he feels since it’s obvious he’s not in the financial ballpark. Jay Z owned two shower stalls at Barclays Center and he makes you look like a charity case. It didn’t stop him from calling himself the owner of the Nets, but hip hop is a boastful culture. So much so dudes brag about eating French Toast and nit pick hypothetical business deals they were never privy to:
“It’ll be controlled by a bunch of people who probably have more money than you. And who have been involved with the organization for longer than you. So you won’t be able to do a lot of the things that you want to do. So, I’m not interested.”
Duly noted. The Hawks will go for a billion dollars or more. Maybe start with a youth soccer team and work your way up. I heard park space is cheap in the winter months. Roll a ball out and see what happens. This is the big leagues. No we can’t give you free tickets.
