Patricia Arquette wants you to know she made some serious concessions in order to film Boyhood, although not enough to not be inexplicably pregnant in a few scenes. The movie shot for a few weeks a year over a decade to capture the realistic time lapse. If teachers have to attend those educational conferences I don’t see appearing in a Linklater film as a huge problem. Especially since it’s voluntary:
“I paid more money to my babysitter and my dog walker than I made on Boyhood, and to be in Boyhood!”
Next time you’re complaining about finances maybe don’t mention you employ a professional dog walker. The absolute minimum a principal actor can currently earn per day while shooting a movie is $859 and that’s assuming your agent sucks. If you’re paying that to a chick named Tiffany to eat your ice cream you’re one of those out of touch wealthy people who get taken advantage of by people who don’t even feel guilty. Fuck Tiffany and her BMW. How much does daycare run? On second thought avoid that place it’s full of creeps. Can I babysit for you?
