America’s most overzealous neighborhood watchman and former private party part-time security guard George Zimmerman has produced a second original oil on canvas. After doing not so much for the first 28 years or so of his life, Zimmerman lucked into shooting a black kid in Florida where such things are considered slightly less heinous than driving your Lamborghini too fast. After acquittal, George found himself completely broke. Sort of like before acquittal. Thankfully, Jesus came down from heaven and spoke unto George, ‘Dude, stop with all the guns and pick up the brush and I will reward you with riches’. And he did. Martin’s first simplistic piece brought him $100K on Ebay from a buyer who either loves crappy art or hates black kids. Either way, somebody with far too much money on their hands. In his second piece, George gets all controversial with a portrait of his prosecutor, Angela Corey, mocking her respect for the American judicial system. It seems certain to be the 21st century version of Picasso’s Guernica in terms of lasting political symbolism. It’ll probably net Zimmerman another $100K on Ebay, at least until his supporters finally figure out he’s Hispanic.
