When I see a no-win situation, that’s when I like to dive in good. After taking some admittedly deserved shit for calling Ariel Winter a chub-monkey the other day, why not dig into Kendall Jenner and her young woman’s self-image issues. Only Kendall isn’t upset about being called fat. Nope, she’s called ‘too skinny’ and according to Kendall and what she can surmise from her four full years in a formal elementary school learning environment, it’s every bit as abusive.
“I’m constantly criticized for being too skinny. I’m trying to gain weight but my body won’t let it happen. What people don’t understand is that calling someone too skinny is the same as calling someone too fat. It’s not a nice feeling.”
– Kendall Jenner to Us magazine
When Kendall is troubled by all the skinny name calling, she runs to older half-sister Khloe, who eats all of Kendall’s food rations and then threatens that if she tells mom, she’ll snap her scrawny neck and bury her in a shallow grave out by the willow tree. This might also be keeping Kendall ‘too skinny’.
Stop calling me skinny! Said no model ever.
